Eternal Impact

At Kicking Bear, the mission goes far beyond teaching kids how to shoot a bow. Many of the youth we serve come to us searching for direction, belonging, and encouragement. At Kicking Bear, they gain confidence, learn responsibility, and discover the value of perseverance. More importantly, they hear the truth of who they are in Christ. As Scripture reminds us, “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14). Our goal is for every child to leave knowing they were created with intention and purpose.

In a world filled with noise and uncertainty, Kicking Bear provides steady mentorship and Godly role models who walk alongside youth. Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” Whether walking around the woods, in a hunting blind, or during small group conversations, meaningful relationships are formed that often last for years.

This winter, Kicking Bear’s mentorship has had a mighty impact. From indoor archery nights and squirrel hunts to one-on-one outings, lives are being shaped in powerful ways. The true impact goes beyond skills learned—it is learning how to apply God’s Word to everyday life: the good and the hard, the highs and the lows. It is called discipleship. Walking alongside a young person through every season builds faith that lasts. We could not do this without your faithful prayers and support. Thank you for joining us on this journey.
