Our Mission
Put a bow in a kid’s hand and lead their family to the Lord—one-on-one.
What We Do
Kicking Bear is a nationwide, faith-based youth ministry using outdoor camps, mentorship, and hunting and fishing experiences to introduce young people to Christ and help them grow in faith, confidence, and character.
Adventure Camps
Kicking Bear adventure camps are FREE, fun-filled, family events put on all across the nation. Camps are a great opportunity to introduce youth to Christ, archery, and the great outdoors. Some of the activities include:

- BB Guns
- Giant Waterslides
- Arts & Crafts
- Fishing
- Tomahawk Throwing
- KB Tough Course
- Field Games
- Epic Marshmallow Fight
- And much more
Mentorship 1-0n-1
No kid should grow up feeling alone. We pair under privileged youth with an adult male or female to walk alongside them during their difficult years of growing up. Mentors will be in a kid’s life for a minimum time period of one-year and participate in an outdoor activity with them at least once per month while also striving to be a spiritual mentor in their life.
Youth Hunting and Fishing Trips
We take kids on fishing and hunting trips where they learn the skills of shooting, casting, archery, harvesting animals, cleaning fish, and teach them of all God’s creation. They will learn that God has a purpose for them and it is for good.
