Ice Skating Event
To kick off the month of December the Kicking Bear team hosted an ice skating event at the Omni Center in Onalaska, WI. Families were treated with a small gift and then Chrissy walked us all through the real reason for the season and reminded us all to make sure we spent some time with the Lord during the busy holiday season opening His “gifts” to us all. Then everyone hit the ice for some ice skating fun!! It was a great way to come together creating unity through community!
Hunting at Springbrook
The Kicking Bear team helped put on a real fun activity with our friends at Springbrook Assisted Living Community in Onalaska, WI. We thought it would be fun to provide them with a “hunting” experience. So Pastor Kevin jumped into a chicken costume and friends of Kicking Bear Jim and Shane brought in some trees, we got some nerf guns out and folks did some hunting! Oh man did we laugh and have just the best time. Doris let a nerf dart fly and it hit baby Jesus in the nativity scene and then Janet figured out that her scooter gave her some drive by shots!
